Is there some reason not to install WINE and use dBpowerAmp (or any
other Windows based Ripper)? I know that might offend the guys that
installed the Server version of Ubuntu and have taken an oath only to
use a CLI Window, but isn't it the best of both worlds (Best OS with
Best Ripper)?

I would probably be using this route if I still didn't have my Windows
XP Beta SBS Server with dBpowerAmp installed. So I rip on the XP box
using dBpowerAmp and then send the files to my main Music Server.
