Max seems to have been "end of lifed" and Rip, now in beta, seems to be
the focus of sbooth's development efforts. I say "seems" because the
sbooth folks seem to be kinda shy and retiring.

In any case, I've switched to Rip, which has a better UI, support for
AccurateRip, and better support for iTunes metadata. I've only had a
very occaisonal problems with the beta truncating FLACS (I suggest
running "flac -ts" on your FLACs to catch problems before moving them
into your SB library, but it is a rare problem.)

XLD is good, too, but I prefer having the ability to use iTunes
metadata.
