My previous DVD drive failed, so I had to replace it. I replaced it with a LG Super Multi DVD Rewriter Drive.
After fitting the new drive, I have ripped a number of CDs. On almost every CD that I rip track 1 always has an error similar to this: Track 1 Filename K:\Music\UB40\The Best Of UB40 - Disc 1\ Food For Thought (1980).wav Timing problem 0:00:00 Timing problem 0:00:22 Peak level 96.8 % Copy CRC 7E0BF72D Accurately ripped (confidence 3) [88F3CF93] Copy finished The CD I have just ripped had 18 tracks on it. All tracks ripped ok except track 1, 13 and 15. Tracks 13 and 15 had error message like this: Track 13 Filename K:\Music\UB40\The Best Of UB40 - Disc 1\ If It Happens Again (1984).wav Suspicious position 0:02:05 Peak level 90.8 % Copy CRC 14958044 Cannot be verified as accurate (confidence 60) [5DA1F154], AccurateRip returned [4EC7BD9C] Copy finished Could there be a fault with the DVD drive? I use EAC for ripping my CDs into FLAC files. is there anything else I should have done after fitting the new DVD drive? EAC was already setup for my previous DVD drive. If there is any more info then let me know.
