How come the Squeezebox doesn't see all the songs in my library? A non-trivial number aren't showing up and hence aren't available to play.
I assume it's a tag thing. Obviously, if the tags are poor (or absent), then it makes sense they can't be 'seen'. So I loaded mp3tag, and it shows that some files are tagged correctly (or so I believe, I'm new to mp3tag), but still don't appear when SB scans my library. I'm not sure if I need help with SB or with the tagging software. But what's clear is that SB can't see all my files (they are mostly FLAC, with some mp3s). It's an SB Duet, and my SBserver is up to date.
