Interesting, this all needs 'empirical' testing, unfortunately a full rescan takes such a long time :-)
But if I am correct, I would prefer to use 'Various' as value for ALBUM ARTIST, also to avoid confusions wherever the name pops up. Then this would be visible as 'Various' under SBS menu "Various artists" It gets even more difficult :-) Say you have an album/EP that is sung by many different artists together per song. Like the 1997 BBC single 'Perfect Day'.
