For a starter, I'd load all tracks from all albums I'm wanting to tag, rather than a single album at a time. Next I'd click on whatever field headers are necessary to get your tracks sorted first to last, by album. For me clicking on filename and then dirpath field headers does the trick, but I guess it will depend on how your files are named.
Put the cursor on any track(s) relating to the album you're wanting to tag and hit Ctrl-N to select all files in that folder. Now hit the search button (but see my comment below). johnieutah;618515 Wrote: > A load of results are returned (is there some way to make this a bit > more exact since my album/folder structure is very strict?).puddletag > generally returns albums matching the artist and album data existing in the selected tracks. If it returns many albums it's because it cannot find a close match. Can you give me an example of an album that returns many hits. johnieutah;618515 Wrote: > Anyways, selecting the correct album, an error is shown 'An unhandled > error occured: dict object has no attribute rating.'This is the comment I > referred to when I said "(but see my comment below)." I'm almost sure this is due to a bug in the build you're running (it's been corrected in the latest development build if you want to download it via SVN). Click on the configure icon to the right of the Musicbrainz entry in the Tag Sources listbox and deselect Retrieve PUIDs - this should avoid the bug. johnieutah;618515 Wrote: > Is this work flow wrong?
