I use musicbrainz piccard tagger with a last.fm plugin. It sorts through the jumbled mess of last.fm tags and uses the "important" words to derive genre tags for your file and writes it to the file. It does up to three tags per song. Though it would be quite a mission to redo this for your music. It would also potentially change existing tags which you may not want it to do.
Another way is to use erlands custom scan and custom browse plugins. It then makes all last.fm tags available on your music for playing.
