1) For your FLAC files, first determine whether or not they have any ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags by adding a column to the mp3tag display that shows the tag type. This section of the wiki explains how to do that: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Mp3tagGuide#Displaying_the_Tag_Type_Currently_Used . If you don't have any ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags in your FLAC files then you can ignore that part of the wiki, because it doesn't apply to you. Certainly you shouldn't have any ID3v1 or v2 tags in FLAC files that you just ripped and encoded. But if you happen to have those tags in older FLAC files or FLAC files you received from other sources, then you should follow the wiki instructions for deleting ID3v1 and v2 tags and keeping only FLAC (Vorbis) tags in your FLAC files. 2) As garym says, check to make sure you're looking in the right place for the FLAC files, and not in the location where the MP3 version of the library may be kept.
