Hello,

Was wondering if anyone uses multiple artist tags when tagging an album
that is credited to more than one artist. For example I have an album
"Gateway" on the ECM label that is credited to "John Abercrombie, Dave
Holland, Jack DeJohnette" on the album cover and spine. Other John
Abercombie albums are credited as "John Abercrombie Trio" , "John
Abercrombie Quartet" etc. Various combinations.

Typically I just the artist "as is" as credited on the album cover so I
may have multiple artists listed in LMS all variations on John
Abercrombie ...

In the first example I have an artist listed as "John Abercrombie, Dave
Holland, Jack DeJohnette" but am considering making that 3 artist tags
with each artist listed separately.

Just wondering what the best technique is in this instance. What scheme
do others use?

Thanks for any suggestions.

-Paul
