As Mnyb says, your ALBUMSORT tag is being overridden by your choice to sort albums by Artist / Year / Album.
I think Mnyb's tweak about living in the past is the right idea, buy possibly backwards. Because sorting albums by Artist / Year / Album (in Artist browse, which is what your screenshot appears to show) sorts year by ascending chronological order.
