If it's just a 4 digit year and you want to change it to a different 4 digit year you should be good to use FRHEd to change it, but I'd test a file first to make sure. That's all I can think of for your immediate fix. You should report the issue to the MP3Tag person and maybe a fix will be issued. Other than that, it's all I've got.
