To be clear: I have exactly *zero AAC* files. Please do not confuse the issue by stating that it is only an AAC problem, a format that I had not mentioned to be a problem for me. I have some *96k FLAC* files which exceed the Boom's native ability to play thereby requiring transcoding. Both the Touch and the Radio would play the CBC 1 stream but the Boom would not. Why? I don't know. Maybe because it is a CBR stream. CBC states that they use WMA but they did use OGG at one time which I seem to recall worked on all of my players. As someone who has searched for a solution to this *FLAC transcoding problem* I thought it may save someone else time. Maybe this is spelled out somewhere but I never found it clearly stated. Could this, should this, be part of the package for LMS with a test to see if the OS is a 64bit version and if so, provide dialog to user stating the need for the 32bit libraries.
