To be clear: I have exactly *zero AAC* files. Please do not confuse the
issue by stating that it is only an AAC problem, a format that I had not
mentioned to be a problem for me. I have some *96k FLAC* files which
exceed the Boom's native ability to play thereby requiring transcoding.

Both the Touch and the Radio would play the CBC 1 stream but the Boom
would not. Why? I don't know. Maybe because it is a CBR stream. CBC
states that they use WMA but they did use OGG at one time which I seem
to recall worked on all of my players.

As someone who has searched for a solution to this *FLAC transcoding
problem* I thought it may save someone else time. Maybe this is spelled
out somewhere but I never found it clearly stated. Could this, should
this, be part of the package for LMS with a test to see if the OS is a
64bit version and if so, provide dialog to user stating the need for the
32bit libraries. Not of us are knowledgable enough to know we need to
come into this problem from the point of view of the 64bit vs 32bit.
