Hi,

I'm exploring the possibilities of playing Multichannel files on LMS.
Right now I managed to create and play multichannel flac files using
'this'
guide.

But since my complete music collection is mp3 or m4a only (due to
compatibility with iTunes and iDevices), I want to be able to play
multichannel m4a files.

I created a file that plays perfect in iTunes / VLC, but when I play
this on LMS the file gets transcoded via faad/flac and only L/R channels
are played.

When I manually start the custom faad binary (shipped with LMS
distribution) on this file, then I see that the decoder shows all 6
channels.
I have tried to modify convert.conf, without any luck.

Output :

Processes started when playing multichannel m4a file. Results in only
L/R audio.
