I have created a little "bookmarklet" (a piece of javascript activated
from your browsers bookmarks), which can find *the original -full-size-
cover-art versions as uploaded* to sites like 'Last.FM'
(http://last.fm/), 'AllMusic' (http://allmusic.com/), 'Bandcamp'
(http://bandcamp.com/), 'iTunes'
(https://itunes.apple.com/genre/music/), 'MusicBrainz'
(http://musicbrainz.org/), 'SoundCloud' (https://soundcloud.com/) and
more...

You can find the latest version of the bookmarklet on my homepage at:

http://www.rockland.dk/show/?post=393

Above page is in Danish, but the yellow highlighted link on the page, is
-"the thing"-. Copy or drag the yellow link to your browsers bookmarks
or bookmark toolbar, and activate it on pages showing album-art you
would like to have in bigger size...

WHEN ACTIVATING BOOKMARKLET ON A SUPPORTED SITE, THE FOLLOWING HAPPENS:

*1)* An orange border appears on all images that the tool tries to
re-load in originally uploaded version...
*2)* When finished loading original full-size version of an image, the
border changes to red and if you hover your mouse over it, you should
see a mouseover text showing you the image's real dimensions (Note, in
most cases the images will not actually change the size shown with on
the page).
*3)* To see the full-size version of an red-bordered image, now
right-click the image and choose "View Image" (or whatever it is called
in the browser you use). Alternatively, if the image is not defined as a
link on the page, you can usually also see it full-size simply by
clicking normally on it.
*4)* And now you can save the original full-size image from your browser
(maybe by simply dragging it to your desktop, but that probably depends
on what browser you use).

For example try it on:
http://www.last.fm/music/Depeche+Mode/Violator/+images

The bookmarklet is primarily tested with Firefox, but I assume it will
work with latest versions of all popular desktop browsers (Chrome,
IE10+, Safari, Opera, etc.).

The tool supports pages on 'Last.FM' (http://last.fm/), 'AllMusic'
(http://allmusic.com/), 'Bandcamp' (http://bandcamp.com/), 'iTunes'
(https://itunes.apple.com/genre/music/), 'MusicBrainz'
(http://musicbrainz.org/), 'SoundCloud' (https://soundcloud.com/), 'CD
Baby' (http://cdbaby.com/), 'Jamendo' (http://jamendo.com/en/),
'Magnatune' (http://magnatune.com/), '45cat' (http://45cat.com/) and
'Amazon' (http://www.amazon.co.uk/?tag=bedrdhtml-21) sites. -However it
works better on some of the sites than others-... (and there a better
tools for Amazon out there, I think).

Hope somebody can find it useful (like I do myself). Have fun...
