Actually if you set *Filter Genres at the Album & Track Level*. to on in you my music settings both these scenarois work and actually just genres to no need for an extra menu . So with this setting on you can create sub genres for Vinyl and browse by artist then album and have only those presented :) this is also an easy to use alternative . Frankly I would not use it that much . I would find it usefull for finding original release vs remasters and eventual vinil rips for nostalgia and unavailable stuff , the 24 bit is actually completely irrelevant to me (for other reasons we discuss elsewhere... ) Now i found the answer to the original question ,excuse my ramblings above testing different aproaches... Update : The custom library plugin gets even better .
