Maybe no-one is interested, but some documentation of my findings might become useful I think for anyone also trying to get musicip analysis done as complete as possible...
My next finding is that the mixer is picky in the characters it finds in your filename. I find that if I copy a file myself from my samba share to ntfs: hyphen-minus signs stay hyphen-minus. When I use the copy command of the mixer and use pattern "c:\analyzed\%3\%2\%1\%file" as to keep the naming and structure the same, the hyphen-minus is changed to a hyphen and suddenly becomes analyzable again... So the mixer is only able to understand specific characters. Now I need to find a way to bulk convert my hyphen-minus filenames to hyphen ones, to allow for analysis. I analyzed them for now on my ntfs disk, but copying them back, obviously results in duplicate files, with 1 of the copies still without fingerprint... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Huey11's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67632 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96392 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
