In lieu of holding a Research IT reading group on 11/5, we encourage you to
attend the Digital Archives News Group session on ePADD, an open-source
tool for the acquisition, preservation, and presentation of email archive
collections, which will be held from 12-1 PM on 11/5 in 303 Doe.

We'll send out a reminder closer to that date, but if you're interested in
the topic, you may want to attend the presentation next Thursday by the
Stanford team that's developing ePADD. The presentation will be held from
10-11 AM on 10/29, in 180 Doe Library. They request that you RSVP using the

ePADD (email Processing, Appraisal, Discovery, and Delivery) is "a software
package developed by Stanford University's Special Collections & University
