That said, given MLTK's melted daemon, it might be possible to interface it fairly simply using telnet. What other broadcast playout systems have you looked at? Where do you see Rivendell fitting in to that world? I'd agree that something with Rivendell's capability in terms of logs, scripting, distributed architecture etc would be a welcome thing to have, just wondering what's out there already.
