I would think a second multi-output soundcard and another dedicated fader on
your mixer would give you this function right away, rather than wait for this
feature to be built.
Is there enough room on your mixer to handle another input?

Subject: [RDD] Feature request - Panel with crossfading on one output.

Hi all.

I'm often using the panel in rdairplay and rdpanel to place elements
like beds and teaser on air.

Using only one fader for the panel.! (two for music)

Now the situation... When i want to switch from my bed to an another
element, i have to stop first the bed, then start the jingle... Thats
sounds not very good...

For this it would be nice, when there is a switch in rdadmin--rdairplay
settings, that can be activated when only one output ist used, so the
audio would be crossfaded and then stops the previous Cart.

I know, that i can do this with macros on a hardware keyboard. But in
future i like to use a touchscreen.!
