At the moment I am running older SuSE with KDE. Mainly because it was the easiest for me to setup a few years back and was what Fred was using at the time. I haven't looked much in to Ubuntu or Debian - yet, I did notice that article and gave it a read. I didn't think it applies to SuSE 10.
