1. How is the program audio loaded into the system, dropbox,
manually...? (can you control the max length this way)
2. If you want your program closer to always play can you use a
"hardtime start" on this instead? (is fading out the program acceptable)

Here are some things I have considered:
-- Can you play several carts together using a macro command--and,
will it force all of the carts to play out in the macro (regardless of

A, Cart B, and Cart C must all play together?

for the next timed event in the log? (Then, I could just make the
closer the first item in the next event.)

-- Is there a way to say that, if a cart has played within xx amount
of time, to not replay it?

Here is what I am trying to do:
I have my logs set up with rather generic clocks that allow for filler
carts to take up any used time before the next timed event. Because of
the nature of our programming, our program elements are not always
consistent on time.
Here's an example of what I mean:
xx:00:00 FIRST EVENT
xx:00:00 Program Opener (30 sec)
xx:00:30 Program (varying lengths)
xx:13:00 Program Closer (30 sec)
(event then fills if it isn't time to start new event)
xx:13:30 SECOND EVENT (marked "make next")
xx:13:30 Spots
This is what I want to do: I want to ensure that the *Program Closer
*always airs before going to the second event. But, I don't always
want whatever filler may come after the closer before starting the
next stopset. All of this depends on the length of the program as to
whether things will run early or late.
If my program elements is longer than 13 minutes, what would happen is
that my closer would get bumped so that the first spot would be "made
next." But, if I tell it to "wait for xx seconds," I may or may not
get my program closer in, but I might also get some of the extra
filler that I may not want if we're running late.
In other words: I only want filler playing if my first event ends
before :13:30. But, I always want my program closer to play. (All of
my program and spot elements come from my traffic log.)
What's the best way to do this?
