I have had a serious problem develop reciently in which RDCatch will
just randomly start recording full-amplitude white noise type sound when
programmed to record an audio cut.
This issue can develop a few seconds into the cut recording, or 30-40m
in, and at various times of the day, there is no saying. Sometimes once
started, it lasts the duration of the cut, or drops in and out.
All hardware appears to be ok and all other Rivendell components
function as they should. I even performed a fresh installation of
Rivendell 2.5.3 and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and the problem is still there.
Soundcard is an M-Audio Delta 66.
Any suggestions on what could be causing this and why this problem has
sudenly appeared after over a year of running Rivendell?
