Hi Andy.

I'm not an Appliance user, but as long as it's CentOS based I thing you may
be able to update it using "yum update".

Using the tar.gz you should unpack it and run "configure, make, make
install" to compile it from source. But I really think that when using the
broadcast appliance you should not compile it from source.


Just try the "yum update".
