 Windows "Domain controller" can get real complicated, because of windows.
 If/when I need to do something like that, I generally find it easier and more
 reliable ( as well as less ambiguous ) to let samba on linux *be* the domain 
controller.
 Samba generally makes a "better" windows domain controller than does
 a windows windows domain controller, albeit a generation behind.
 ( by Microsoft design. The samba guys get caught up pretty quickly )
