I set up a system to sync a remote Rivendell system a long time ago. 1. On #1, Backup the database, compress with gzip. 2. On #1, Make a compressed version of the sound files in Ogg- Vorbis. 3. rsync that (those files and the database) to #2. 4. On #2, uncompress to get back to wav (not absolutely needed, Riv can play the ogg files directly but some other features don't work) 5. On #2, import the database. Now #2 is a clone (and backup) of #1. _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list Rivendell-dev@lists.rivendellaudio.org http://caspian.paravelsystems.com/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
