I picked up this box, a Gentner AP400 which is designed for
multi-microphone conference room systems. It has a 4-in x 4-out
line level switching array and a telephone interface in addition
to fancier processing on the 4 microphone input lines, lets the
"chairman" shout down the lackeys, for example.

I think I paid $20. They can be had on ebay for about that.

I'm thinking it might make a good analog audio switch for my LPFM.
It is serial controllable either with
text commands or fancy Windows software.

It looks to me like it ought to work fine, the frequency range
looks fine. Anything else I should be suspicious about?

Any chance someone has already rigged a Rivendell connection?
