Well, I really need to finally solve this. I need some help. Can someone doing traffic and / or music merges with external schedulers help me out please? (Preferably using Rivendell Standard Imports or Custom Imports) What might help: Screen shots from: rdadmin->manage services (for the service doing the merges) rdlogmanager->edit events (for the events that set up the merge) rdlogedit (for a log pre and post merge) Sample merge files that match the screen shots. (even 10 or so lines from such files) What is happening to me when I try a traffic merge: When I set things up in a way I know is broken (missing traffic merge file) and test the traffic import, I get an error message. When I set things up in what I think is a correct way, (traffic merge file exists and I think it matches the custom import I have defined) I get no error report, but I also get no results in the "white window"... When U generate a log for a clock that has external traffic, I get a green light under available and a red light under merged for the merge traffic line. When I look at that log in rdlogedit, I see the links where they should be with [traffic import] as the title. When I then click merge traffic in rdlogmanager, i get: Rivendell Log Exception Report Generated at: 04/14/2015 - 22:00:37 Log: et_2015_04_15 Effective Airdate: 04/15/2015 0 exceptions found. as a report and I get a green light under available and a green light under merged for the merge traffic line in rdlogmanager. After the merge, when I look at the same log in rdlogedit again, the links have simply disappeared.
