I just remembered that when the machines were first set up as stand-alone and then upgraded to 2.11.0, the sound worked fine. It was when I directed them to connect to the server that the sound cards were no longer recognized. I used the same setup as with 2.10.3 clients and I can't think of anything I changed that would effect the audio.
