I've tried that card and it works fine. However I didn't like the sound quality in comparison to a Creative Labs Soundblaster. I've also tried a Soundblaster Audigy FX (SB1570) and this also works out the box and (in my opinion) sounds better. I've got this card working with the 3 outputs as separate assignable outputs in Rivendell.
