In '/etc/rd.conf', find the [Alsa] section and try some different
values for 'PeriodQuantity=' (2 or 3) and 'PeriodSize='. parameters.
USB sound devices can be odd ducks to deal with sometimes as they often
want 'unusual' (non even powers of 2) buffer sizes.
