If you're using an Audioscience card then you'll want to use those drivers. Otherwise your options are ALSA or Jackaudio.

To use your card through ALSA, you'll want to run rdalsaconfig as root and make sure the desired sound card is selected, then save your configuration and restart the Rivendell daemons. To verify, check rdadmin -- Manage hosts -- Audio resources and you should be able to see if Rivendell found your sound card or not.

If that is the case, try playing audio. If you still have no sound, check the settings in your alsamixer - make sure that card's output is not muted and the level on its outputs are up.

Hello Community,
I was wondering if in the V3.6.2 jack has to be installed. I have no audio coming out of the sound card. I looked at my Host in the admin panel and checked all my settings I can see the Jack settings to be the same as my old system.

I am not sure if should download and install Jack or its something I am might be missing.

Thanks
