I have same here 3.6.5
I was doing some research and there is a way to change the DB engines.
I am not certian where I saw this documentation I will add on this tread
if I find it again.
By the way do you know if the Rivendell DB is hidden in MariaDB, I tried
show databases and no database is showing for Rivendell
Does anyone have the answer to this.

check your database version from your old machine and the new machine.
I am having a similar issue. You may have the old databases versions
5.1. and the new system I am going to 5.5 MariaDB. But I am having a
error when RD opens in air Play or the library.
