What platform are you on that you can't use the standard Paravel install
script?
I have run into situations with new motherboards that won't allow me to
install CentOS 7, and I've had to use Rocky Linux 8. That required
compiling RD3.x from source. Is that your situation? I believe I have a
detailed step-by-step procedure for compiling RD3.x under Rocky Linux 8,
if that would be helpful.
