In the coming days I hope to come up with some suggestions for the
further setup of JIRA such as components, permissions, workflow, etc. If
there are people that have suggestion at this moment please post them.
Can the person(s) at Sun responsible for the migration of the BugTraq
issues to JIRA indicate whether it is possible to export BugTraq issues
as CVS data. If that is the case I'm willing to help out with the
mapping from BugTraq fields to JIRA fields.
Also do we need historical data in JIRA, in my opinion if we can
automate the process this would be valuable. The Jini source code
contains references to closed issues in BugTraq and the comments in many
closed issues have been found valuable by me and I don't want to go back
to the Sun database when the migration is over.
