When the qa test suite are sorted, and we've tested on a number of
platforms, I'll release.
We've got a diverse background of developers, I agree with you, we're
ready for graduation, we've had two releases since River's inception.

Jonathan & Patricia have been making significant progress with the qa test
suite.
Tom's been improving our documentation and making contributions that are
important for new developers.
And we've got rekindled interest and contributions from experienced
downstream Jini app developers, it looks like we might have some potential
for new committers soon too.
