In the SlaveHarness a KeepAlive thread is started. This 'keepalive' connects to the MasterHarness.KEEPALIVE_PORT and if this port disappears, it does a TeardownRequest before a System.exit(1).
My proposal would be, no TeardownRequest, and a Runtime.halt(1) instead of the exit.
