Hi Harald,

thank you for the initiative with the guy at SuSE. My message was actually meant for Jeff, who is in touch with the people at rpmforge. I presume this doesn't rule out the possibility that SuSE makes its own rpm.

regards

P.S. Btw, when you make an rpm out of rivet would you tell us where it's
located so that we can add a link on the website?
Sorry, did not recognize this part of the E-Mail.

The updated RPM spec file for Rivet 2.0 has already been accepted by
the rpmforge group:
http://svn.rpmforge.net/viewvc/rpmforge/trunk/rpms/mod_rivet/

My understanding is that they only do a rebuild and mirroring of their
packages every few weeks, so it may be a little while longer until the
next cycle occurs.
Sorry, I don't know how to make rpm's.
Of cause, I could find it out, but would it be helpful ?

I could also contact Reinhard Max, the TCL guy at SuSE, to integrate
Rivet in the distribution.

Regards,
Harald
