I'm pleased to announce the experimental mod_rivet code is now passing
all the tests with Apache 2.2 running both the prefork and worker MPMs.
I still have to test the event MPM and understand which bridge is best
for it.
Since the tests should be considered as fixing a quality standard for
mod_rivet I will rename the 'experimental' directory as simply
'mod_rivet' and I will make it the default build.
running the worker MPM made apache unresponsive to signals sent by Tclx
kill. Therefore each test blocks and in order to run the test suite
with
the threaded MPM I had to use httpd itself to send the signals, the way
apachectl does
