I placed at the usual place (http://people.apache.org/~mxmanghi/) the RC1 for rivet 2.2.1
New features in rivet 2.2.1 - new Tcl channel management reduces overheads by creating a single channel per child process. A new directive SeparateChannels was added to force mod_rivet to create interpreter private channels (effective only when SeparateVirtualInterps is On) - new command ::rivet::redirect diverts to a different URL and triggers the execution of AbortScript when such script is set in the configuration - new subcommand '::rivet::headers get' reads a header value from the output HTTP headers. - new subcommand '::rivet::headers sent' returns 1 if the HTTP headers have been sent to the client - new configure macro APU_HANDLING allows to pick apache-utils files APU_INCLUDES from a different directory of APR_INCLUDES and sets LDFLAGS flags as demanded by the apu config script. - several obsolete comments in TODO,BUGS, README, README.MacOSX were removed or the whole file was tagged as obsolete (by the way, anyone running Rivet on a Mac wants to take up the task of writing some build and installtion notes) please, check this archive and let me know -- Massimo --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
