Stable releases of Rivet don't support Windows because they don't support the winnt MPM

Nonetheless the development branch (/rivet/trunk) of Rivet is designed to offer support for any MPM. Different MPMs are supported by writing a shared library module we called 'bridge' (there are 2 of them in rivet/trunk supporting the 'prefork' and 'worker' MPM)

I don't have a Windows machine on which I can test this module but I think the bridge developed for the 'worker' MPM could work out a solution or at least a base on which rapidly develop a specialized winnt bridge

If you want to be part of the development let me know
