Hello!
In continue to this funny discussion, I'd like to inform you that
recently we have published a paper about an implementation
of a technology taken from the blockchain concept using
Apache Rivet. It is still quite raw and, probably, not so attractive,
but we are working on its improvement. Here is this article (click
on "Conference paper (PDF, 850 KB)" to get the full text paper):

or https://doi.org/10.5194/isprs-annals-IV-4-W7-99-2018
Moreover, we have published two more articles regarding
successful utilization of Apache Rivet:
https://doi.org/10.1117/12.2322831 (Preprint
http://ar.n-kov.com/i/Noskov2018fbsWebGIS.pdf)
http://ar.n-kov.com/i/NoskovZipfRousell2018WGNDataQualityConcept.pdf
(https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1346671)
There are some works in progress; links will be provided by the
following web page: http://a.n-kov.com/
Possibly, it will be interesting for some of you.
Regards,
Alexey

You're solemnly appointed rivet blockchain technology chief architect.
You're invited to kneel in front of me while I lay the sword on your

of my hands...

Happy new year!
Random idea for increasing Rivet's popularity: add something about
blockchain technology ;-)
