I agree on patient, that's for sure.  I can't tell you how many times I've
seen them send the answer ' go check 4.4 of the faq' :)

If the hashes check out fine using your file integrity checker or
your distro's package manager (verifying against remote packages if
in doubt) then it's a false positive. Those can be remedied running
RKH's companion tool "hashupd" which will update RKH's hashes to
what's on your system. Get it from RKH's Sourceforge download page.
