I ran "rkhunter -c" and it detected differences in user accounts and in
user groups. Then I ran "rkhunter -c --createlogfile /home/log.txt" to
send the results to this maillist. I searched for the line where "detected
differences" would be but instead of previous detected differences,
now rkhunter reported "no detected differences". I ran "rkhunter - c" again
and again negative results. Between "rkhunter -c" and "rkhunter -c
--cratelogfile /home/log.txt" I ran "rpm -Va" to cehck if the`re some
strange things happening.

So, how can rkhunter give two different results some minutes apart?

rknhunter reports differences in user accounts and groups *since the last run of rkhunter*. The second time you ran there were no changes in user accounts and groups since there hadn't been any changes in that couple of minutes.
