It seems Linux systems are moving towards installing none of syslog, syslog-ng, rsyslog etc by default, with the logging being handled by systemd. So the system intentionally has no traditional logging daemon running.
rkhunter isn't able to accommodate that, generating frequent Warning: No running system logging daemon has been found. Or at least I haven't found a way to tell rkhunter about systemd. Frequent noise detracts from the important warnings. Is there at least a workaround one can deploy?
