Hi all,

Some GUI suggestions: (KDE*)

1. I had mentioned this in an earlier mail, in the context of the dataeditor -
I think the Object viewer (Right click on an object -> View) would be better
displayed in a Mono style font.

2. The information area of the Object Viewer (where Full Location, Type,
Class, Length, etc.. are displayed) could be modified so as to display the
information as a row rather than a column. That is, modifying what looks like
this:

x
Full location: data.new[["x"]] Ready
Type: Array [Update]
Dimension: 10,4 [Cancel]
Class(es): Matrix

to something that looks like this:

x Ready [Update] [Cancel]
Full location Type Dimension Class(es)
data.new[["x"]] Array 10,4 Matrix

(I hope the above lines do not break when you read the mail, otherwise the
whole point will be moot)
Anyway, why the change form column style to row style? Well, I think, the
row-style saves a lot of empty space and provides more space for the summary
and print display area.

Does that sound useful/appealing?

Regards.
PK
