hi, adding to rk.ClusterAnalysis (which received some revisions), i uploaded a first plugin version for multidimensional scaling: o http://rkward.sourceforge.net/R/pckg/rk.MultidimensionalScaling/index.html
they both use some JavaScript in the logic sections, so it's possible to use raw data (data.frame or matrix) as well as an already prepared distance matrix (it turns on/off certain elements, and in the one plot dialog of rk.ClusterAnalysis even sets the value of a radio button, accordingly). as of now, in RKWard it's possible to select subsets of variables (columns) from a given data.frame. i was just wondering if it's also possible to select cases (rows) in a similar way, already? like a selector box offering the rownames/numbers. ideally, it would allow to specify a column (e.g. with case numbers) as an alternative, and if the column is a factor, list only the factor levels. viele grüße :: m.eik -- dipl. psych. meik michalke institut f"ur experimentelle psychologie abt. f"ur diagnostik und differentielle psychologie heinrich-heine-universit"at d-40204 d"usseldorf
