The best way to load multiple programs is to use kpackage labeled package
manager in the menu under system management and then under more system
programs. Kpackage has a way to load lots of programs to then be selected and
loaded all at once. Select Manage packages in the said menu then click on
settings and then configure kpackage. Next to the selection labeled rpm
select button labeled location of packages. Now you'll see a place where you
can enter the directory where your packages are located. Then select it and
then close out of kpackage and run again. Now you'll see all your new
packages that you can check and install all at once. You can also enter ftp
sites extra to look for new up dates. Email me if you have any more questions.

Have Fun
