Problema pe scurt: ATI X700, SUSE 10.1 i386 instalat curat, driverul
proprietar ATI (fglrx 8.24.8) instalat si merge, logat in KDE.

si ma uit la un ecran negru. Nu pot face nimic ca sa vad login prompt,
dar el exista, pentru ca pot scrie "pe nimerite" :) root si parola, apoi
"reboot" de exemplu, si sistemul rebuteaza.
La fel se intampla cand dau shutdown / reboot din KDE: ecran negru.
Totusi shutdown / reboot se intampla.
Monitorul este un Fujitsu Siemens LCD de 19 inch, si merge bine in
rezolutia optima 1280 x 1024.
N-am avut problema asta pe SUSE 10.0 cu acelasi hardware si cu o
versiune mai veche de fglrx. A mai patit cineva asta? Multumesc anticipat.
