Job responsibilities: - Active participation in the design & development phases of new network-based technologies; - Write automated tests for components and integrate them in the build and release processes; - Interact with other teams, internal to Bitdefender or external; - Review code from team members. Requests: - Advanced in C/C++; - Good knowledge of protocol unpacking/security/encryption/encoding; - Good understanding of sockets, threads, processes, interprocess communication, async I/O; - Good debugging skills (Visual Studio debugger and gdb); - Working in performance-critical projects; - Systems programming (daemons, proxies, filters). Skills: - High personal standards and a passion for quality-driven development; - Good knowledge of the English language; - Quick learner; - Self-motivated and enthusiast; Pluses: - Reverse engineering, networking, linux/windows kernel experience, assembly; - Windows internals: services, IPC, access control.
