Cu mindrie patriotica, pe linie de partid si de stat, va anuntam
lansarea primei versiuni non-beta ("oficial" non-beta) de Postfix, adica
release-20010228. Sursa poate fi downloadata de aici:

Pachete masticate in prealabil pentru a fi convenabil inghitite de
ciocurile delicate ale utilizatorilor de Red Hat pot fi gasite aici:

Desi s-ar putea sa mai treaca o zi sau doua pina ce Simon Mudd, intr-o
pauza dintre o "corrida" si un flirt cu vreo "senorita", isi gaseste
timp sa puna ultimul release in RPM... Ole! =)
Cit despre motivele pentru care acest release particular, si nu altul de
acum 6 luni sau altul de peste 10 ani, a fost declarat "primul
non-beta", puteti afla mai multe citind mesajul atasat, pentru ca eu
folosesc Postfix de vreo doi ani si n-am avut nici o problema (ca si
listele @lug.ro de altfel ;-) ).
(Pe scurt, a fost o chestie pur politica, pentru a ajuta sysadminii sa
depaseasca complexele managerilor referitoare la ideea de soft "beta").

In a recent interview I wrote that Postfix has two acceptance
problems:
1 - Lack of documentation for people who never administered mail before.
2 - The BETA version. Some people can't get it past their boss.
The latter is what I am fixing now.
